For those who love informal holidays but at the same time want all the comforts and first class facilities, the answer is the modern "Le Calanchiole" Campsite Village, where everything is well organized and professionally run. The campsite, with direct access to the beach, is in the heart of a vast area rich in Mediterranean scrub, and is surrounded by pine trees and eucalyptus; it leads right to a tiny, pretty cove where guests have the very fine sands beach with crystal clear water at their complete disposal. A touch of privacy and uniqueness in a truly breathtaking environment, surrounded by nature and far from the noisy traffic. A scenic pathway for pedestrians only in the shade of lush mastic trees and holm oaks goes right along the underlying coast with its many tiny, enchanting coves. An endless, blue horizon with boats dotted here and there. On land an area of 40,000 square metres offers you the type of accommodation you prefer: guests can choose from 250 plots in the shade on either side of wide, well looked after, tree-lined paths, and all the plots have electricity, toilets, and showers with hot and cold water; guests also have the use of a laundrette for washing and ironing, and a baby room. As well as the plots, guests can also choose from one-family bungalows, De Luxe lodges, caravans, and, right next to the campsite, flats in the Villa Angelica Residence.The Campsite/Village looks onto the sea in the Golfo Stella, with its sandy beaches and cliffs, and is only 8km from Portoferraio and 3km from Porto Azzurro, both connected to Golfo Stella by a shuttle bus.
